MANDALA means "circle" in Sanskrit. A Mandala is a concentric spiritual & healing ritual symbol in Hinduism & Buddhism. It is a powerful metaphysical representation of the Cosmos. It may also stand for an imaginary palace contemplated during focused meditation. Mandalas are commonly used by Tantric Buddhists to help transform ordinary minds into enlightened ones & assist with healing. These mandalas were created digitally from nature photos I took along the Shenandoah Valley & at the Luray Caverns in VA the day the Notre Dame Cathedral caught fire in Paris. I came home and transformed them also as tribute to the ND beautiful Rosetta stained-glass window I had seen back in 1984. I hope they help you heal in your own personal space & journey. Play with mixing & matching, hanging 3 in a row! These images can be printed on different squared sizes on: ARCHIVAL PHOTO PAPER , ACRYLIC , WOOD, METAL OR CANVAS Some of the mandalas featured here and more are already printed on 12"x12" acrylic/ archival photo paper & framed individually for sale. Prices will vary accordingly. Contact artist directly at (610) 551-2789 for details.
